Tysons Limited has been a player in the Real Estate Sector in Kenya and the East African Region since 1923 when it was founded by Mr. George A Tyson.

The Company currently employs fourteen (14) qualified full time real estate professionals, out of which four are Directors. It also retains the services of four Consultant Engineers who specialize in valuation of plant, machinery and mobile vehicles.

The Company's range of services covers all aspects of real estate transactions and are as follows.

Valuation
The company undertakes valuation of land, buildings, plant, machinery and fittings to establish current values for open market, insurance, book and rental purposes.

Property Management
Tysons Limited manages commercial, residential and industrial properties on behalf of a broad based clientele including individuals, companies, parastatals, embassies, churches etc.

On appointment as Property Managers we offer the following services:

• Rent collection,
• preparation of statements of accounts,
• letting/re-letting,
• negotiations for new leases,
• renewal of leases & rent reviews,
• maintenance and repairs,
• periodic inspections,
• payments of all operating costs e.g. insurance, premiums, rates, ground rent, security,
• preparation of periodic reports,
• preparation of budgets,
• advise on the status of the property market,
• dispatch of rent proceeds to bank accounts after deduction of the agreed management fees.

Property Sales/Letting
This is carried out by our Agency Department and includes assessment of the current market value/rent of the property before the property is placed in the market. We sell/let commercial, industrial, residential and agricultural properties for our clients.

Feasibility Studies
We undertake feasibility studies for our customers and advise on the viability of proposed commercial, industrial and residential properties.

Project Management
We also undertake Project Management on behalf of our clients. This involves co-ordination of all the professionals involved in construction of a project and supervision the same to ensure that the set objectives of a high quality development is achieved in a cost effective way.
